Insurance, financing and how you pay

Insured crews, itemized invoices your adjuster will accept, and payment plans for the big removals.

Our insurance

Tree work is performed by crews carrying general liability and workers' compensation written specifically for tree work — climbing, rigging and crane operations, not a landscaping policy that excludes them. A certificate of insurance is sent before we start, every job, and we'll name your HOA or property manager as additional insured on request. North Carolina doesn't license tree services statewide, so this certificate is the protection you actually have; ask every company for it.

Your insurance

Storm damage to a covered structure is usually a claim; a tree down in the yard usually isn't. We document every storm job with before-and-after photos, split the invoice between structure-related and yard-only work, and provide an arborist's statement of the cause of failure when the adjuster asks. We don't take assignments of benefits — you keep control of your claim. More in the insurance guide.

Financing

For removals and lot clearing over about $2,000 we can arrange financing through a third-party lender, subject to credit approval, with terms typically from 6 to 60 months. Ask when you get your estimate and we'll send the application link — the decision usually comes back the same day, and it doesn't hold up scheduling.

How you pay

No deposit is due until you've approved the written price and the work is scheduled. Most residential jobs are paid on completion by card, check or bank transfer. Larger crane and clearing jobs may be split into a mobilization payment and a completion payment, spelled out on the estimate. HOA and commercial accounts are invoiced net 30.

Storm work: we don't raise prices after a storm. Our rates are the same in September as in March; what changes is how fast the schedule fills.
